A short queue of customers waiting outside a small shop as the shutter goes up at sunrise, drawn in brush-pen ink.

For ambitious service-based businesses like trades, consultants and coaches.

More enquiries. More of them becoming clients. More of them staying.

You're good at the work. The reply, the follow-up and the check-in still land on you at nine at night, or don't happen at all.

A client-flow system, diagnosed before it's built, built round the way you already work, and looked after until it runs on its own.

The Survey is £147. Refunded at the end of the call if it wasn't worth it, or credited against anything you buy within six months.

You've probably already bought something that promised to sort this.

If you've bought software that promised to bring you clients, and it's sitting there half set up while you get on with the real work, you're in the majority. More than half of these systems never do what the brochure said, and when researchers looked at why, it was rarely the software itself (Johnny Grow 2025; Vantage Point).

Nobody built it around how you actually work. Nobody stayed long enough to make it stick. And nobody told you the truth: no tool does the being-visible part for you.

The problem isn't your effort, and it isn't the tool. It's that you were sold an install when what you needed was a system built into your week, with someone who stays until it runs. There's a simpler way round this.

Your guide

Someone who's watched enquiries stall from the inside, for fifteen years.

Martin has spent fifteen years helping owner-run businesses get clients, and the proof is how long they stay: five of them for between three and eleven years each. He built Client Flow after his own detour through every AI tool and shiny system going, then found his way back to what actually works for owners like you.

The plan

Diagnosed, built, then kept running. In that order.

  1. Survey

Sixty minutes with Martin on how your week actually runs and where your enquiries slip through. You leave with a written plan of how to improve your results, not a sales pitch. £147, credited against anything you buy within six months.

  2. Build

We build the parts your plan names, priced to that plan rather than a menu. Nine components make up the whole system, and yours only ever includes the ones you actually need.

  3. Serve

We keep it running: checked every month, fixed the moment something breaks, and used rather than just installed.

Think of it like a proper shop, not just a shopfront. The Survey draws up the plans. The Build puts up the walls, the fittings and the opening. Serve keeps the doors open every day after that.

The plain version

No metaphors here. Just what you get.

The nine components

The nine components
Component What it is Included Not included
1 Shopfront One page that turns a visitor into an enquiry, and tells you where they came from One page, written and built to convert one enquiry type, with its form and tracking. A second page is a second component. A multi-page website, a rebuild of an existing site, e-commerce, blog or portfolio galleries. A whole site is a separate quote, and usually not us.
2 Enquiry capture Every enquiry, from any channel, lands in one place; a missed call gets a text back in seconds One pipeline, the contact record, tags, missed-call text-back on one number, web chat on one site. Migrating an old database, connecting a second business or brand, bespoke software integrations.
3 Instant reply Every enquiry gets an answer within a minute, and you get told Automatic acknowledgement by email and text within a minute for each enquiry type in the plan, and an alert to one owner. Answering the enquiry itself, live chat staffed by us, phone answering.
4 Follow-up that never forgets A quiet enquiry gets chased, five to seven times, on its own One sequence of five to seven messages per enquiry type, written and tested, with chasers when it goes quiet. Up to two enquiry types. A third or later enquiry type (each is an addition), sales calls, bespoke proposals.
5 Booking People book themselves in, get reminded, and are chased if they don't turn up One calendar, reminders, and a no-show recovery message. Multi-staff rota calendars, payments taken at booking, room or equipment booking.
6 Reputation Every finished job asks for a review, and your Google profile stays current A review request after each job, one Google Business Profile tidied and connected. Responding to reviews on the owner's behalf, removing bad reviews, listings on directories beyond Google.
7 Stay-in-touch Past clients hear from you every month, in your own voice The template and the first issue of a monthly email to past clients, in the owner's voice. Serve writes and sends the issues after that. A weekly newsletter, print mailers, sending to bought lists.
8 Reactivation and referral Old quotes and past clients get a reason to come back each quarter, and are asked to refer One reactivation campaign to old quotes and past clients, and one referral ask, both written and set up. Serve repeats them quarterly. Paid advertising, cold outreach to strangers, incentives or prize draws.
9 Visibility routine Your own posts go out on a schedule, and Resolved keeps the daily habit going Social scheduling set up from the owner's own material, and Resolved for the daily habit. Writing the owner's social content for them, video production, managing comments and messages.

One business, one brand, one number, one site per build. What the Build writes and tests, Serve keeps running and sends each month. Anything outside a component's edge is either a further component, an addition at a stated price, or not something we do. It's never absorbed quietly into the plan.

What Serve contains each month

Always in Serve

  • Monthly service check with Martin (30 minutes)
  • Your system kept running: inbox and pipeline watched, things fixed, small copy changes made
  • The platform account, plus text and email usage

Added as your plan needs it

  • Monthly stay-in-touch email to past clients, written and sent
  • Quarterly reactivation or referral campaign to old quotes and past clients
  • Google Business Profile posts and review chasing
  • Social scheduling from your own material

Which of the right-hand items you get is set by your own Plan of Works, not by a tier you pick off a page.

How pricing works

After the Survey, you get one number for the Build and one number for the Serve retainer, both worked out from your own Plan of Works. Not a menu, not a price list, and never quoted before we know what your business actually needs. The £147 you paid for the Survey comes off whatever you buy within the following six months.

If you'd rather build the system yourself, with Martin beside you month by month, ask about Client Flow Coaching.

What the Survey gives you

Sixty minutes with Martin on how your week actually runs and where enquiries go missing. A written Plan of Works naming exactly what to fix, and in what order. £147. If you get to the end of your Survey and don't believe it was worth every penny, say so there and then. We refund the full £147. No forms, no fuss. Otherwise the £147 comes off anything you buy within six months, capped at what you spend. Refund or credit, never both.

Questions owners ask before they book.

Will someone else just take this over completely?

No. The Survey diagnoses what your business needs, the Build puts it in place, and Serve keeps it running month to month. It's your business and your voice throughout: everything is written for you, but nothing happens that you haven't seen and approved.

Do I need a new website?

Usually not. The Shopfront component is one page built to convert one enquiry type, not a full rebuild. Most owners keep their existing site and add the page that's missing.

What if I already have some of this working?

Then your Plan of Works only names what's missing. The Survey looks at what you've already got before it suggests anything new, so you're never paying to duplicate work that's already doing its job.

How long does a Build take?

It depends on your Plan of Works and how many components it names. A component is done when it's run on real enquiries for a fortnight and you've seen it work, so timing follows the plan rather than a fixed calendar.

What does Serve cost each month?

There's one Serve number, worked out from your Plan of Works after the Survey. We don't publish a price list: what you pay for is what your business actually needs running.

Can I add something later?

Yes. If your business grows into needing another component, it's added to Serve at its own price, and your existing plan stays exactly as it is.

What if the Survey shows I don't need anything else?

Then that's what you'll hear. The Survey exists to tell you the truth about where enquiries stall, and sometimes the honest answer is that you don't need a Build yet, just the daily habit of staying visible. That's exactly what Resolved, £99, is for.

What happens on the call?

Sixty minutes with Martin over video call, going through how your week actually runs and where enquiries go missing. You leave with a map of where they stop today and a written Plan of Works naming what to fix first. If you get to the end and don't believe it was worth every penny, say so there and then and we refund the full £147. Refund or credit, never both.

Will I have to learn a new system?

No. Serve runs it. You approve what's written in your name, take the calls and do the jobs. The monthly service check is where you see what's working, and it's thirty minutes, not a training course.

A shop front standing on its own, held up from behind by wooden props, with weeds at the base, a torn poster in the window and the dotted outline of a shop that was never built beside it.

Or

The alternative is another year of the same.

Another system half set up while you get on with the real work.Another year of enquiries that went quiet before anyone answered them.
